Thank you for your feedback. We include the “avoid water” note in our care instructions, FAQs, and throughout our site as a precaution to help your keepsake last for many years. That said, occasional contact from hand washing won’t harm your ring.

Because each stone is handcrafted with epoxy resin to preserve the inclusions inside, we recommend avoiding prolonged or frequent water exposure (like swimming, bathing, or dishwashing) to maintain its clarity and shine.

Our Face Book Community is a great place to view tons of photos of our work posted by our customers. You can use the find option within the group to search for a specific keyword that will easily pull up lots of pictures for you to view. Our shimmers are very subtle. If too much shimmer is added, it can cause the milk stone to be porous and decrease the quality of the milk stone. Our shimmer is intended to be just a hint of shimmer that is mainly noticed when the light reflects off of your milk stone. If you prefer larger pieces of color for an inclusion, we do offer flakes with a variety of coloring that can be used in the flakes.
